Electromechanical Tyre Killers ETK Series
ETK-FM/SM Series electromechanical tyre killers are spike-type vehicle control systems designed for high-security entrance points. Their electromechanical design allows use in one-way or reverse-direction access applications. Independently moving spikes are mounted on a common shaft. The spikes retract as authorised vehicle tyres pass over them and automatically return to the raised position by counterweight after passage.
In the event of unauthorised entry, the spikes damage the vehicle tyres and bring the vehicle to a stop within a few metres. Typical applications include military zones, government buildings, police facilities, embassies, airports and car parks. The SM Series is surface-mounted and requires no concrete excavation.
