The total weight, length and daily open/close cycle count of the gate are the most critical factors in selecting the right motor power. The KRC SGO 600 is a 600 kg capacity sliding gate operator ideal for villa entrances, apartment buildings and residential car parks.
Safety photocells and obstruction detection sensors fitted as standard cause the gate to stop and reverse the moment an obstacle is detected. This safety feature is standard across all KRC sliding gate systems.
Sliding gates open to the side and require no swing clearance, making them ideal for confined spaces. Swing gates open inward or outward and are preferred where there is insufficient side wall space for a sliding gate. Both systems are available up to 12 metres wide.
In all KRC sliding gate systems the gate mechanism is released and can be operated manually when power is cut. An optional battery back-up unit is also available for continued automatic operation.
A standard sliding gate installation, including ground preparation, is completed within 1–2 working days. If the infrastructure is already in place, commissioning can be done the same day. The KRC engineering team provides post-installation training.
