The standard BLD 600 hydraulic model raises and lowers in 2–3 seconds. The high-security BLD-CT model takes 6–8 seconds. With the optional EFO emergency module this can be reduced to 1 second.
The bollard body and underground housing are built to protected standards. With correct drainage in the foundation, the system operates reliably even in heavy rain. All KRC bollards work within a −20/+55 °C temperature range.
A hydraulic bollard rises and lowers by remote command to allow vehicle passage. A fixed bollard (BLDF-CT) provides a permanent physical barrier with no moving parts. Fixed models are preferred where periodic vehicle access is not required.
The standard BLD 600 requires 800 mm burial depth. The shallow-mount BLDF-CT fixed model requires no excavation at all — it bolts directly to the surface, making it ideal for rented premises or locations where deep digging is not possible.
The KRC BLD-CT Series, powered by an in-house developed hydraulic control unit, provides an impact energy absorption capacity of up to 2,000,000 J — suitable for airports, government buildings and critical infrastructure.
