A cable embedded beneath the road surface detects the metal mass of a vehicle above it, triggering the barrier to close automatically after the vehicle has passed or to open on exit. Compatible with all KRC barrier systems.
Yes. Using the learn button on the KRC receiver card, a new remote can be registered to the system in seconds — no technical knowledge required.
A barrier can operate without a photocell, but there is a risk of closing on a vehicle or pedestrian. Fitting at least one photocell pair to every barrier system is our standard recommendation. KRC photocells carry an IP67 rating for outdoor use.
A flashing beacon is recommended wherever barrier or blocker systems need to be more visible — at night, in narrow passages or at high-traffic locations. KRC standard and mini beacon models are easily integrated with any system.
KRC loop detectors, photocells and remote controls use industry-standard signal outputs and are therefore compatible with most barrier and gate brands. A compatibility check with our technical team before installation is recommended.
